I’m a qualified Registered Nutritional Therapist who is passionate about supporting you reach your health goals
I started to think about my diet when I was diagnosed with IBS as a teenager. After suffering with digestion issues and low energy for several years I knew I needed to make some changes as my symptoms were affecting my life. I had already started to think about the importance of food when working on national government health and wellbeing campaigns. Working to improve the nation’s health made me think more about what I could do on a personal level. That’s when I discovered the power of foods to heal us. Making changes to my diet enhanced my health and wellbeing and I want to support others to do the same.
My qualifications
I studied for three years at ION (Institute of Optimum Nutrition) where I gained a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (distinction). I am a member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) the regulatory bodies for UK Nutritional Therapists.
My advice is underpinned by the latest nutrition science. I regularly attend professional learning including conferences, lectures and workshops to keep up to date with the latest nutrition science.
